Empact communities partners with Long Beach Health Department to provide bicycle safety workshops in Long Beach. 

In partnership with the Long Beach Health Department we aim to engage, encourage, and empower Long Beach residents to get out and ride by providing free bicycle safety workshops. Our workshops will be a combination of classroom experience with practical bike skills. First, All participants will be placed in a safe and secure environment such as a closed parking lot and will be examined for their bike handling skills and comfort level on a bike. Second, those that need to learn how to ride will be supervised in order to develop confidence.
