Our latest book we will be reading for our Anti-Racist Book Club is "Killers of the Flower Moon".

This book is an in depth look at the murders of the native Osage people in Oklahoma and is written from the perspective of the FBI who are investigating the murders when no law enforcement of Osage county would.

We will be reading Chapter 25 and 26 this week. If you don't own the book please feel free to join and discuss your thoughts on the chapter.

Healthy Active Streets saw an decline in mental health during the pandemic as well as a stigmas against mental health increasing. We as individuals have all use journaling in at some point in our life for dealing with our own mental health. We wanted to create a safe space where folks can come together and share space with one another to discuss about anything that comes to us while journaling

We partner with local artist and poeta Xitlalic G.O. She facilitates this workshop with us and shares how journaling has helped through out her life and facilitates the journaling session with fun and thought provoking.
