In celebration of Earth Day we are offering a free, guided bike ride to the the Los Angeles River!
Join us on a family friendly bike ride to the LA River starting at 9am. The ride is a slow paced and mostly on the bike path, no hills, and 6 miles long with a 3 mile option.
When: Saturday, April 21, 2018
Where: Houghton Park (Atlantic and Harding, Long Beach, CA 90805)
Time:9AM Free bike safety check
9:30 AM Bike ride to the LA River
12PM Bike Ride ends
Free Parking: Lots located adjacent on Walnut and Harding and on street
Remember to bring:
1. Helmet (All participants under 18 MUST wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent/guardian)
2. Spare inner tubes
3. Plenty of water and snacks
4. Sunblock
Bike Safety Checks provided at 9am at no cost.
Drinks, snacks provided
**This ride will be led by League Cycling Instructors (LCI's) through the League of American Bicyclists and supported by other volunteer riders.
