architecture ride

We are happy to announce our next bike ride!

The architecture ride will be a fun educational bike ride. This bike ride will be 12 miles round trip highlighting different infrastructural impacts on the residents of long beach. The ride will start at our office and go to the Gerald Desmond Bridge on ocean and then back to our office.

You can expect to learn about the goods movements and its impact on our environment and people, different biking infrastructure, and housing issues. We will also be sharing solutions and ways to get involved to help communities that are historically underserved. This ride will be a little longer than our usual rides so please wear comfortable clothes for biking and walking, and bring lots of water! This ride will ride at a moderate pace and will be going at a pace that the whole group is comfortable with, we will have a hard start time of 10:20am. We will be conducting free bike checks and fixes from 9:30am-start time. This ride will also feature some walking portions but a majority bike riding.
