It's not often that you can feel great about your work. Where you know that you have made a positive impact on someone's life. That happened for me yesterday: I taught a bicycle safety class to the employees of a women's shelter. Empact Long Beach put on the workshop. The plan is to provide a fleet of bikes for the shelter and establish a bike share for the residents. A non-profit is putting those bikes together right now. The residents can than check out a bike and go shopping or run errands. They won't have to take public transit, call a taxi or ask for a ride. The program will give them independence. We'll also teach the residents how to ride a bike. I thank God and Empact Long Beach for giving me an opportunity to help others. Serving is fulfilling. https://www.facebook.com/empactlongbeach
