Empact and BHC Long Beach ride to #PSOTC2015

Join Empact Long Beach and Building Healthy Communities: Long Beach to bike to the 2015 People's State of the City! The bike ride will be leaving from the BHC office (920 Atlantic Ave. LB 90813) at 4:30pm to arrive at Stephens Middle School. Join over 300 community residents as we come together to reflect the realities of Long Beach

residents and take action on the issues facing our neighborhoods­­community safety, education, 

environmental health, housing, immigrant rights, and jobs­­so we can create a more equitable 

Long Beach. We’re halfway home, but we have a long way to go!

Free refreshments, childwatch, and Spanish, Khmer, and Tagalog interpretation will be 

provided. Public transit, biking, and carpooling are encouraged.

Acompañe a más de 300 residentes comunitarios mientras nos unimos para refleccionar sobre 

las realidades de los residentes de Long Beach y tomar acción sobre temas afectando a 

nuestros vecindarios­­seguridad comunitaria, educación, salud del medio ambiente, viviendas, 

derechos de inmigrantes, y trabajos­­así podemos crear un Long Beach más equitativo. 

Estamos a mitad del camino hacia casa, pero nos queda un largo camino adelante!

Se proveerá un refrigerio, cuidado de niños e interpretación al español. Recomendamos utilizar 

el transporte público, andar en bicicleta o compartir el vehículo con otros.
