**Meeting location: Jordan High School Community Room #2101**
Connect with other young people ages 14-20 to explore the past and present-day policies, laws, practices, and viewpoints that have shaped community conditions and inequities in North Long Beach. Participants will deepen their understanding of how neighborhood conditions affect people’s health and opportunities, as well as learn the basics of mapping and analyzing data to support advocacy efforts. Food will be provided, transit/rideshare cards will be available, and participants will continue toward a certificate from the City of Long Beach for participation in the workshop series.
